TNA Champion Kurt Angle's attorney releases a statement claiming Rhaka Khan "was not threatened and absolutely no conflict occurred"
Aug 17, 2009 - 09:37 AM |
Kurt Angle's legal team issued a statement to the UK Sun in which they continue to claim their client's innocence following his arrest on Saturday. "The woman [TNA Knockout Rhaka Khan] involved has no injuries, was not threatened and absolutely no conflict occurred," reads the statement.
"We are confident that once a court actually hears the evidence, the PFA (protection for abuse) will be dismissed." To read the full story, visit the UK Sun.
Powell's POV: Angle's attorneys claim PFAs allow people to fabricate abuse. He also claims that it was "happenstance" that Angle and Rhaka happened to be at the same place on Saturday when she contacted police and accused him of violating the PFA. Rhaka has yet to comment publicly on the matter.
I spoke in detail about the Angle situation and the decision to keep the TNA Title on him during the Dot Net Member Exclusive Audio update last night. You can access all Dot Net Audio and score all the perks of membership for only $5 per month by visiting the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.
