TNA News: Kurt Angle arrest picked up by the AP and featured on ESPN's website
Aug 16, 2009 - 02:30 PM |
Kurt Angle's arrest on possession of human growth hormone has been picked up by the Associated Press and is now featured on the ESPN website. The story notes that Angle is scheduled to wrestle on tonight's TNA Hard Justice pay-per-view, but a message left with TNA spokesman Steven Godfrey was not immediately returned. You can check out the story at ESPN.com.
Powell's POV: There's still no official word on Angle's status for tonight's pay-per-view, but all indications are that he will appear at tonight's show and defend the TNA Title against Sting and Matt Morgan in the main event. It's also worth noting that Hernandez has a briefcase that grants him a title shot at any time of his choosing. Check back tonight for my live coverage report of the show beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT.
