TNA teasing the debut of a former WWE wrestler
Aug 7, 2009 - 10:32 AM |
It appears Elijah Burke will debut for TNA at the Hard Justice pay-per-view on Aug. 16. There was a brief video that aired during Thursday's Impact that noted "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero will debut on that show. Burke has used the name "Black Pope" dating back to his WWE days.
Burke posted a note on his Twitter page after the vignette aired. "I wonder who in the Black Pope that could be," he wrote. "My team of highly paid lawyers are looking into this ASAP. PHS: Pope has spoken." To read more of his tweets, click here.
Powell's POV: Burke will be a nice addition to the TNA roster. He showed a lot of potential during his WWE run.
