TNA News: An update on Kurt Angle's groin injury and his status for tonight's Victory Road pay-per-view main event
Jul 19, 2009 - 09:45 AM |
Kurt Angle suffered a groin injury and was unable to wrestle as advertised in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Saturday. Jeremy Borash noted on his Twitter page that Angle will still work the main event of tonight's Victory Road pay-per-view against Mick Foley.
"With Kurt now and he says he's good to go," Borash wrote. "He hurt his groin on the set of the movie Saturday and didn't wrestle last night to rest it. Feeling much better today." To read more from Borash, visit his Twitter Page.
Powell's POV: Our TNA house show correspondent noted that Angle was moving very slowly on Saturday night when he appeared at the autograph party held after the main event. It's good to hear he'll be able to work the main event tonight, but only time will tell how much it affects his performance.
