TNA star Mick Foley named New York Yankees fan of the game
Jul 2, 2009 - 12:39 PM |
Dot Net reader Justin O'Connor filed the following report on Mick Foley's appearance the New York Yankees vs. Seattle Mariners game on Wednesday.
Mick was at Yankee Stadium today to catch the Yankees 4-2 win over the Mariners. He was shown on the jumbotron in between innings and received a fairly large crowd pop. Then the camera cut to a guy with his own Mr. Socko which was no-sold by the crowd. Mick was later named the fan of the game. It was really cool that so many people recognized the pro wrestling legend.
Powell's POV: It is good to hear that Mick received such a good reaction from the Yankees fans, who aren't exactly famous for their kindness. Thanks also to Dot Net reader Jerry Scirica for passing along the same news.
