TNA announces three matches for the Slammiversary pay-per-view, MLB player to play a role at the show
May 29, 2009 - 03:15 PM |
Mike Tenay announced during the Raisha Saeed vs. Sojourner Bolt web match that there will be two King of the Mountain matches at the Slammiversary pay-per-view. The main event will be the seven-man TNA Title match, and the other will be an X Division Title match.
It was also noted that Detroit Tigers player Curtis Granderson will hold the X Division Title belt at ringside when it's not in play. You can watch the match by visiting TNAwrestling.com. [Thanks to Talon Robinson and Niklas Jonsson]
Powell's POV: The TNA Title match will feature Mick Foley defending the strap against A.J. Styles, Jeff Jarrett, and four wrestlers to be determined. The third match is the previously announced Team 3D vs. Beer Money for the TNA Tag Titles match.
