TNA Impact Wrestling quarter-hour ratings: No quarter-hour tops the 1.0 mark, only one tops 0.9
May 22, 2013 - 12:45 PM

The following are the quarter-hour ratings for Thursday's TNA Impact Wrestling television show.

Q1: 0.82 rating - Hulk Hogan promo with Joseph Park, Devon, and D-Lo Brown out, James Storm backstage

Q2: 0.75 rating - Christian York video, Bobby Roode vs. Chavo Guerrero with Storm involvement, Kurt Angle promo

Q3: 0.82 rating - Angle continuation with Mr. Anderson out and eventually A.J. Styles, Jay Bradley video, Jay Bradley vs. Christian York

Q4: 0.80 rating - Storm backstage, Anderson backstage with D-Lo Brown, Brooke Hogan, Mickie James, and Bully Ray backstage, two commercial breaks

Q5: 0.88 rating - Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky, X Division video

Q6: 0.85 rating - Suicide video, Kenny King vs. Chris Sabin vs. Petey Williams, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian backstage, D-Lo and Anderson backstage, Christopher Daniels vs. Hernandez

Q7: 0.85 rating - Daniels vs. Hernandez continuation with Storm involvement and post match promo, D-Lo Brown vs. Joseph Park

Q8: 0.91 rating - Sting and Bully Ray contract signing and brawl

Powell's POV: Not a single quarter-hour topping the 1.0 mark has to be alarming to TNA and Spike TV. The company is changing back to the later time slot later this month and at one point they were doing much stronger numbers in the second hour, so logic would seem to suggest that the overall rating would improve once they move back to the later slot. The second hour number was still better than the first for this show, but the slip to an 0.872 rating for the second hour is just plain awful regardless of competition.
