TNA News: Wrestler announces departure, not re-signing with the company

D'Angelo Dinero (a/k/a Elijah Burke) announced on Twitter that his contract with TNA has expired and he will not re-sign with the company. "Pope's contract expired with TNA on January 1," he wrote. "I will not be (re-signing). Thanks to Dixie and the whole TNA family for a wonderful three-plus years." Follow him online at Twitter.com/DaBlackPope.
Powell's POV: There were times when it seemed like Dinero was on the verge of breaking through, but injuries, creative, and inconsistent work prevented that from happening. It appears to be an amicable split between the two sides based on what he wrote. We'll let you know if he passes along word regarding what his future holds.
