TNA is cutting at least one pay-per-view event from its 2013 schedule, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com. The plan is to cut the February Against All Odds. There is also talk of removing the September pay-per-view from the schedule.

Powell's POV: I'm all for this move. TNA already moved Lockdown to March. It was a wise move since one of their premier events had been held after WrestleMania when people are thinking less about wrestling. This would give them extra time to promote the Lockdown event.

Removing the September event would give them more time to promote the Bound For Glory event. Furthermore, the company would no longer run head-to-head with the first Sunday Night Football game of the season. Dixie Carter spoke of her interest in reducing the number of pay-per-views during a media conference call on May 30. I asked her at the time what her ideal number of pay-per-views would be, but she said she hadn't really thought about it.
