TNA Impact Wrestling rating: How did the show hold up against college football and NFL preseason competition?

Thursday's TNA Impact Wrestling television show drew a 1.07 rating, down from the 1.15 rating the show drew the previous week. Impact averaged 1.416 million viewers for Spike TV.
Powell's POV: The rating essentially dropped back to where it was on August 16. Last week's 1.15 rating was a big jump from Impact's live era average, and this week's number is solid. Impact went against college football and some NFL preseason games last night. They will avoid the NFL opener this year (the NFL opens on Wednesday), but then they will face NFL competition through Week 16 of the season.
