TNA Impact Wrestling rating: The best rating of the live summer shows

Thursday's TNA Impact Wrestling television show drew a 1.15 rating, up from the 1.06 rating drawn the previous week. Impact averaged 1.717 million viewers.
Powell's POV: This is the best number TNA has drawn since February 23. Obviously, it's the best rating and viewership numbers they've produced since they started airing live this summer. They went against an NFL game that was broadcast on ESPN last night and still produced a good rating, which is encouraging as they head into a full season of Thursday night games airing on NFL Network. My guess is that the previous week's tease of the Aces & 8s confrontation with TNA wrestlers had something to do with the increase.
