The following are the quarter-hour ratings for the April 5 TNA Impact Wrestling television show.

Q1: 1.01 rating - Sting and Dixie Carter in the ring with TNA talent at ringside, Hulk Hogan introduced and addresses the roster

Q2: 1.17 rating - Jeff Hardy vs. Kurt Angle, Hogan backstage with Kurt Angle, Ric Flair talks to Eric Bischoff via telephone

Q3: 1.05 rating - Bully Ray backstage briefly, Bully Ray in-ring verbal exchange and brawl with Austin Aries, Joseph Park searches for Abyss, A.J. Styles and James Storm backstage, two commercial breaks

Q4: 1.15 rating - Mickie James vs. Winter vs. Tara vs. Angelina Love vs. Madison Rayne vs. Velvet Sky

Q5: 1.17 rating - Mr. Anderson backstage with Bobby Roode and security, Jeff Hardy and James Storm at the country music awards video, Storm backstage with Montgomery Gentry, James Storm vs. A.J. Styles

Q6: 1.15 rating - Storm vs. Styles continuation, Hogan talks with Sting backstage, Storm celebrates with Montgomery Gentry

Q7: 1.22 rating - Motor City Machine Guns vs. Mexican America, Ric Flair and Eric Bischoff talk backstage, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff confrontation

Q8: 1.06 rating - Bobby Roode vs. Mr. Anderson with James Storm getting involved

Powell's POV:TNA did a good job of building up the return of the Motor City Machine Guns via video teasers in the weeks leading up to this show, and they did a good job of teasing the Hogan and Bischoff confrontation during this show. The minute-by-minute ratings will tell TNA whether The Guns or Hogan and Bischoff deserve or share the credit for the ratings peak of the show. It's a shame that for all the focus they've given Roode lately, his match with Anderson couldn't keep the audience for the final segment. Granted, a commercial break started the quarter-hour, but it was still one of the lowest ratings of the show.
