TNA News: Matt Morgan admits he was surprised by TNA's India project but now expresses excitement
Jan 28, 2012 - 10:33 AM |
TNA wrestler Matt Morgan spoke with an Indian newspaper regarding the TNA offshoot Ring ka King. "I was surprised when I heard that Total Nonstop Action was coming to India because I thought that the sport in India was half-dead," Morgan said. "But when I arrived her and saw the Indian wrestlers who have their own style, my perception changed.
Morgan also offered advice to a 330-pound Indian wrestler who is working for the promotion. "After every match they should ask me questions... question after question," he said. "That's the only way he can get better. Also, patience, a wrestler needs lots of that. He may be focussed on becoming a champion, but on the way up he can't be too hard on himself."
Powell's POV: The first Ring ka King show aired today on the Colors Network in India. The show is available on the international tier offered by Dish Network. If you plan to watch the show regularly and want to keep us updated or submit reports, contact me at dotnetjason@gmail.com.
