Meanwhile, backstage agent Scott D'Amore recently gave notice to the company and plans to leave shortly. He has been citing family issues as the reason for his departure in some conversations. Powell's POV: There is suddenly an agent shortage in TNA, as the company lost D-Lo Brown (although he hadn't been around much in the months leading up to his WWE signing) and D'Amore. The latter loss is significant in that D'Amore serves as the backstage agent at a number of TNA house shows. He and Pat Kenney (a/k/a Simon Diamond) generally split the house show load. The other remaining agents are Glenn Gilbertti (a/k/a Disco Inferno) and Jim Cornette. The buzz is that Cornette isn't as involved as the other agents, so they will essentially be down to two-and-a-half agents when D'Amore leaves the company. D'Amore handled most of the Knockouts matches and it will be interesting to see whether his departure has an impact on the division.
