TNA Impact rating: Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash vs. Beer Money main event draws lowest rating of the second hour
Jul 7, 2008 - 05:25 PM |
TNA Impact drew a 1.0 rating on Thursday, which is up from the 0.9 rating the show drew the week before. The highest rated quarter-hour of the show featured a Kurt Angle in-ring skit along with Team 3D and others. Meanwhile, the lowest rated quarter-hour featured LAX and Robert Roode and James Storm promos, and a Motor City Machine Guns vs. Roode and Storm.
Powell's POV: That the rating increased slightly is a good sign considering that many people were traveling that night due to the Independence Day holiday the next day. Nothing really jumps out at me as far as the highest and lowest rated segments went this week. As noted in the headline, the main event with Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash vs. Beer Money was the lowest rated segment of the second hour. The second hour peaked with Angle's segment and then dipped from there, which is a sign that people lost interest as the show went on.
