TNA News: Mick Foley says he was pushing hard for changes to Impact Wrestling
Jun 5, 2011 - 03:49 PM

Mick Foley commented on his TNA situation without directly acknowledging that he is leaving the company. "I pushed hard for changes I felt would benefit Impact Wrestling," Foley wrote on Twitter. "I can understand how some would interpret that as difficult to work with." To read more from Foley, follow him at Twitter.com/realmickfoley.

Powell's POV: One of the ongoing issues with TNA is that there are a lot of people in the company who recognize the problems, but they bite their tongues because they fear repercussions if management isn't receptive. There are two sides the Foley story, but management, while claiming the company one big happy family, has created an environment where people are afraid to express their true opinions. If people in the company feel that Foley was let go because he spoke out, then it makes it less likely that others will give honest feedback and criticism.
