TNA Impact taping
Orlando, Fla.
Report by Dot Net reader Mike Spajich

Dark Match

1. Shawn Daivari defeated Ricky Reyes by some sort of Death Valley Driver. Decent match.

Xplosion

1. Sangrieto (from Mexico) defeated Chris Sabin and Jay Lethal in a three-way. The new guy Sangrieto won via springboard ace crusher. He looks like Amazing Red under a hood in a new black, purple and yellow outfit. That may be his new gimmick, and I think he will join Hernandez's faction soon if true.

TNA Impact:

Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett, Gunner, Murphy, Rob Terry, Ric Flair, Abyss, Bully Ray and Matt Hardy start the show in the ring. Hogan said that it is obvious to him and the fans of Immortal, who he called Immortal maniacs, that this is the top talent in TNA Wrestling in the ring. Hogan said that there is a stench of rotten crap though, so Mr. Anderson better get out here.

Mr. Anderson came to the ring and Hogan welcomed him to the big show, the big boys territory. Hogan said for six weeks, Anderson had two choices: do things his own way, the Anderson way, or to do things the easy way with Immortal. Anderson said bull and insulted Hogan, who punched Anderson, with Immortal beginning a beatdown.

Immortal held Anderson up and Hogan said that Anderson has disrespected him for the last time. Hogan said Anderson will regret not joining Immortal, because now he’s not going to make it to Lockdown. Bully Ray got in Anderson’s face, but Anderson spat on him. Bully Ray beat Anderson down as Anderson was held down. Immortal left the ring.

1. Orlando Jordan defeated Douglas Williams, Jesse Neal and Crimson in a Four Way Match. Eric Young, Magnus, Shannon Moore, and Scott Steiner accompanied their respective partners to the ring. During the match, Abyss attacked Crimson whilst the referee’s back was turned, effectively taking Crimson out of the match. Jordan then pinned Williams after Steiner, Moore and Neal brawled to the back. I think it will be the Four Way Tag Team Cage Match at Lockdown.

2. Matt Hardy defeated Kazarian in a non-title match. Immortal and Fortune were ejected from ringside before the match started. Hardy won with a unique submission move. He grabbed Kaz like he was going to do a butterfly suplex and then locked his legs around Kaz's waist.

Madison Rayne, Tara and Mickie James had some good verbal exchanges in the ring, and Mickie concluded the segment saying that she will show Madison how hardcore she can be at Lockdown.

3. Jeff Jarrett, Hernandez and "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero defeated Kurt Angle, Matt Morgan and Samoa Joe in a six-man tag match.

There was an in-ring segment involving Sting, Hogan, Bischoff and RVD. Hogan asked RVD to join Immortal but RVD didn't say a word and he headed to the back. Sting promised to retain at Lockdown, then gave Bischoff the Scorpion Death Drop and said to Hogan that his time will also come.

4. Abyss defeated James Storm. There was an another in-ring segment where Angelina gave Velvet Sky a DDT on the chair. Angelina and Winter the headed to the back. I think we'll have Angelina vs. Velvet at Lockdown in the cage, but I'm not sure.

5. Ken Anderson vs. Immortal in a Gauntlet style match. Murphy came out first and Anderson defeated him with the Mic-Check. The same thing then happened to 'The Freak' Rob Terry. And once again, the same happened to Gunner. Bully Ray was the last person to came out. Ray knocked the referee out during the match and then dragged Anderson up the ramp.

Ray dragged him onto the stage and grabbed his chain. Hulk Hogan came out and mocked Anderson. He took his brace off and got ready to powerbomb Anderson off the stage. Sting came out with a bat to stop him. Abyss came up behind Sting, but he ate a bat shot. Ray tried to get Sting but he took a bat shot too. Sting surveyed the carnage left on the stage and left as his music plays to end the show.
