TMZ is reporting that Kurt Angle was arrested and charged with being in control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated in Grand Forks, North Dakota last night.

Angle was found sitting in his car in the median. He told police that he had hit an icy patch. He was given a field sobriety test, which he failed, and was arrested.

Shore's Slant: The story notes that because police did not see Angle driving the car he was not charged with driving under the influence (DUI). I'm not sure the difference in the charges in regards to sentencing, but much like Jeff Hardy, let's hope this serves as a wakeup call to Kurt. And to TNA management.
