Dot Net Exclusive notes: TNA creative change, fun note about Jay Lethal's bachelor party
Jun 6, 2008 - 12:42 PM

-Abyss appears to be off the TNA creative team. He hasn't been sitting in on meetings in recent weeks.

-If it seemed like the TNA wrestlers who took part in Jay Lethal's bachelor party skits on Impact last night were doing a good job of acting like they were drunk, that's because many of them were actually intoxicated. Two sources who were involved in the skits report that the studio where the scene was shot was stocked with booze. "That's the most fun I've ever had filming a pre-tape," one wrestler told Dot Net moments ago.

Powell's POV: One story floating around is that Abyss's "boo-boo facing" (pouting) caught up to him, but it's hard to say for sure what the story is given that Abyss has tried to no-sell his creative role to the wrestlers in the past. As for the bachelor party, no one is quite sure who decided to stock the set with booze, but no one took the time to ask and instead "got in character" quickly.
