TNA News: Taylor Wilde explains why she left TNA and is retiring from pro wrestling
Jan 10, 2011 - 11:40 AM

Former TNA Knockout Taylor Wilde told the UK Sun why she opted to leave the company. "I'm not just leaving TNA, I'm retiring from wrestling and going back to school," Wilde said. "I have nothing but good things to say about TNA. If it wasn't for my experiences there I wouldn't be the person I am today.

"But the way things were going, I just felt I needed a change. With the state of the company and the way they were using me, there wasn't a lot for me to keep me going either. I've done a lot of the things I wanted to do, and there aren't many opportunities left for me." You can read the full story at TheSun.co.uk.

Powell's POV: Taylor stated that she actually had a couple months left on her deal when the two sides agreed to part ways. Although she is advertised for a retirement match in San Francisco, she left the door open for a return to the ring by using the "never say never" line. She added that perhaps she would wrestle again a year or two down the line "if I can still fit in my tights."
