TNA News: A.J. Styles out six to eight weeks with an injury
Jan 10, 2011 - 08:47 AM |
TNA star A.J. Styles addressed the injury that prevented him from wrestling during Sunday's TNA Genesis pay-per-view on his Twitter page. "I tore (my) hip flexor and hip labrum," Styles wrote. "I'll be back wrestling real soon."
Styles followed up by stating that he will not appear on the company's upcoming UK tour. "I'll be out 6 to 8 weeks hopefully and it if it doesn't get better I'll will have to have surgery," Styles wrote. "It is what it is." You can read more at Twitter.com/#!/AJStylesOrg.
Powell's POV: For those who missed the pay-per-view, Styles appeared on the show, but was replaced by Abyss in the match against Douglas Williams. Styles was able to hobble to the ring to hit Williams with the TV Title belt, but he was in noticeable pain.
