Powell's POV: Technically, she is correct that it was not picked up for a 52-week run. Spike TV originally agreed to a 10-episode run, and then picked up the show for another 10 episodes. However, I know that people within TNA were hopeful that the show would be renewed, so it's not like the plan all along was for the show to conclude at the end of the year. Again, I can only hope that TNA isn't planning to air three-hour editions of Impact on a regular basis due to overkill concerns.
