Dot Net Exclusive notes: Roxxi head shaving, get ready for more Knockouts segments on TNA Impact
May 14, 2008 - 09:30 AM

-TNA approached Roxxi Laveaux and perhaps other women to see if they were willing to their heads shaved for the makeover battle royal. The company would not have ordered any woman to shave her had everyone objected. However, a source reports that Roxxi was cool with the idea and agreed to do it without much hesitation.

-In response to the Knockouts typically drawing the highest rated segments, the women will have multiple segments on Impact over the next two weeks. One source noted that one of the Knockouts matches will be featured in two separate segments.

Powell's POV: Good move by Roxxi. Her hair will grow back and it looks like she's been getting a push leading up to the pay-per-view, perhaps because she agreed to have her head shaved. She's been getting more television time and I would assume she'll continue to be featured prominently now that she's proven she's a team player.

The idea of giving the women multiple segments is logical and probably overdue. I know they've been tinkering with that recently, but it sounds like they made a conscious decision to give the women multiple segments as long as their ratings hold up.
