TNA News
TNA wrestler will appear on American Gladiators now that contract issues have been resolved
May 12, 2008 - 03:57 PM

Matt Morgan will appear on NBC's "American Gladiators" this season. He has been cast in the role of heel gladiator "Beast," according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He will be lowered from the ceiling in a cage when he competes. There were some contract issues between NBC and TNA that had to be sorted out, but the two sides struck a deal and he has already filmed his segments.

Powell's POV: Don't look for Morgan on tonight's season premier of the show. I was told today that he probably won't debut on the show until midseason. This should lead to nice exposure for Morgan and thus TNA. It will be interesting to see whether TNA turns Morgan heel to mesh with his Gladiators persona.
