TNA News: Dixie Carter confirms the Dot Net report regarding the reason the April 5 Impact is moving time slots
Mar 25, 2010 - 10:32 AM |
Dixie Carter posted a note on her Twitter page confirming last night's Prowrestling.net report that TNA Impact is changing time slots on Apr. 5 due to the NCAA basketball tournament. "To maximize viewership, Impact will air from 8-10 p.m. ET on (Apr. 5) as to not conflict with NCAA men's b-ball finals on CBS," Carter wrote. You can read more of her tweets at Twitter.com/TNADixie.
Powell's POV: As I mentioned last night, this is a wise move by TNA, as CBS's championship game coverage will begin at 9:00 p.m. ET. It will be very interesting to see whether the unopposed hour performs strongly enough in the ratings to convince TNA and Spike TV officials to move the show to that time slot going forward. At this time, this is the only edition of Impact scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m. ET.
