TNA has removed Awesome Kong from it's website bio. As previously noted, she has been telling friends that the company has agreed to release her. She had been seeking a raise from the company for several months, and also had a highly publicized backstage altercation with Bubba The Love Sponge. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Matt M.]

Powell's POV: TNA Knockout Tara wrote on her Twitter page over the weekend that Kong had not been released. My guess is that Kong is finished with the company, yet I can't rule out the two sides turning this situation into a storyline. Unfortunately, TNA's policy is not to comment on such matters.
