TNA Lockdown on-site report: Notes on Vince Russo and the crowd reaction to Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle

Dot Net reader Matt Cail sent the following report on the TNA pay-per-view.
Vince Russo was in the back of ringside area by the TV and light area . He was there during the Kip James vs. B.G. James match and came back for Lethal Lockdown and Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe match. He looked very thin. There where about three or four other TNA reps or production people with him watching from the ringside area.
SoCal Val was at ringside for the entire pay-per-view.
During the Angle vs. Joe match, a lot of fans chanted, "We want wrestling, not MMA."
Prior to the pay-per-view, the new blonde female backstage interviewer was at ringside letting fans take pics with a TNA title belt, as was SoCal Val with another belt.
A few spurts from the crowd of "Cena sucks" and one loud chant of "Yankees suck." Funny. The Lethal Lockdown t-shirts went for $20 and were the best sellers. The shirt listed Boston, Mass. as the pay-per-view site rather than Lowell, Mass.
The arena itself had plenty of empty seats at the two sections on the opposite side of the ring.
The crowd went nuts for the A.J. Styles and Christian Cage bump on top of the cage. When Curry Man climbed the cage it looked like he slipped.
Biggest pops: Sting and Booker T.
The live crowd was split between Joe and Angle. Joe didn't get a huge pop until he pinned Angle.
Roxxi Laveaux got a nice pop. She wrestles a lot in the Boston area for NECW and other indy promotions.
Many fans where disappointed in Kip and B.G., and Robert Roode vs. Booker T matches being so short.
Not sure how it came off on pay-per-view, but Matt Morgan got like zero response from the crowd when he made his entrance for the Lethal Lockdown match. He was bleeding from a cut to the back of his head late in the match.
All in all, the crowd was hot and seemed to be very happy with the event.
