TNA's Hulk Hogan comments on Linda McMahon running for Senator, his relationship with Jesse "The Body" Ventura, what makes TNA better than the competition
Feb 3, 2010 - 01:24 PM

Hulk Hogan had a lot of familiar, and a few new things to say in an interview with Crave online.

-Hogan on Linda McMahon running for Senator: "I think she’s going to win. She’s brilliant. She’s a very gracious, very smart lady, and her intent and her agenda has always been to help the community and be plugged in and be involved."

Twill's Two Cents: Hogan is being gracious, professional, and intelligent all at the same time, just in case he ever wants to go back to work for Vince McMahon. It is refreshing to read comments praising Linda running for the Senate.

-Hogan on his relationship with Jesse Ventura: "I never knew that Jesse didn’t like me, you know, because the whole time that he was working with me and for me, we had a great rapport. Just out of nowhere, Jesse started coming at me and attacking me on a personal level. You know, I just don’t understand."

Twill's Two Cents: He further commented that he would love to "reconcile" with Jesse. I'm guessing Hogan knows more than he is letting on here as to why the two of them, at least in public, do not get along.

-Hogan on why it is a good thing to work for TNA: "Well, it’s just a whole new life. It’s life after death. It’s not the contrived, one-dimensional programming that the audience has had stuffed down their throats. The energy, like I said, I’ve been to the big dance. I’ve been in all of the locker rooms. I’ve been in all of the big wrestling situations with primetime TV with Ebersol and Brandon Tartikoff."

Twill's Two Cents: This is nothing new in terms of Hogan comparing WWE to what he wants to do in TNA. I just always take it with a grain of salt because I would love to see Hogan making comments like this in 2011 and beyond. I hope he follows through and we get true competition to WWE.
