Update on TNA star Samoa Joe's injury

Samoa Joe posted a message on his Twitter page to say he will work the Slammiversary pay-per-view on July 21. "Gonna be at Slammiversary [come] hell or high water," Joe wrote. You can read the full post by clicking here.

Powell's POV: In case you missed it yesterday, Joe noted that he suffered a torn triceps and broken fingers. He did not wrestle at last night's TNA house show and will likely miss additional time when he undergoes surgery. It will be interesting to see where TNA takes the Taz storyline now if Joe is going to miss a substantial amount of time.
