TNA filed a complaint on Monday in a Davidson County courtroom asking for an injunction to prevent Scott Steiner from making "disparaging remarks." TNA claims Steiner's comment violate a contract he signed in December 2010 that stipulates he is forbidden from making public statements, including tweeting, regarding TNA or its officers, wrestlers, or other individuals without approval. Powell's POV: TNA is going about this all wrong. The key is to strike a business deal with Twitter like WWE did and then magically certain accounts that the sports entertainment company doesn't like will magically disappear (see @CrankyVince, oh, wait, you can't). Steiner has been taking shots at Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, and Brooke Hogan for some time now. Steiner had 54,000 Twitter followers when the story went to press. It will be interesting to see how much his follower count jumps via the legal action publicity.
