On Hulk Hogan: "It's crazy to have him give you advice and compliments. Like, he'd give me advice on my presence or my charisma and I'd be like, wow, you're the king of that!".

On his friend CM Punk's WWE departure: "I'm sure he's doing what he feels is best for him. It sucks because what's right for him may be wrong for the fans".

On whether Punk could turn up in TNA: "If he were to go anywhere else, there's probably other stuff that would appeal to him artistically speaking than coming to TNA, but he'd have a lot of friends here. Just knowing him, I feel like there are other places that would be on his bucket list first. I think he would love to go to New Japan, I think that's something he's wanted for a lot of years, but I feel like he probably wouldn't have made this decision if he felt like he wanted to keep wrestling right now. The basis of this decision was likely because he doesn't want to find himself in a ring for a little while"

Manik also discussed Jason Hervey, TNA's propensity to break the fourth wall, how he feels about working in a mask, the name change from Suicide, and named his biggest influences as Shawn Michaels, Eddie Guerrero and Tiger Mask.
