The following matches are advertised for the Aug. 12 TNA Impact special.

-Rob Van Dam vs. Abyss for the TNA Title.

-Kurt Angle vs. A.J. Styles.

-Madison Rayne vs. Angelina Love.

-Jeff Hardy's open challenge.

-D'Angelo Dinero vs. Matt Morgan vs. Mr. Anderson in a three-way.

-Motor City Machine Guns vs. Beer Money in the final match of their best of five series (if necessary).

-Ink Inc. vs. Generation Me in a No. 1 contenders match.

The talk backstage at the taping this week is that show would feature no promos or vignettes, and they are advertising it as "two hours of nonstop wrestling action." This should be a fun show. I am surprised that they didn't include some of the non-regulars who will work the TNA Hardcore Justice pay-per-view. The pay-per-view should draw some viewers who don't watch TNA shows, so I'd tease them with something involving the non-regulars so that they have some incentive to tune into this show.
