Although I mentioned on Thursday that there were people within the company who were fuming over Hulk Hogan giving away the Rob Van Dam surprise while appearing on a radio show, I am told that none of the major power players in the office were upset.
Powell's POV: Assuming this was an unintentional move by Hogan, I believe this was a blessing in disguise for the company. There wasn't a ton of buzz about TNA moving to Monday nights, but the news of RVD signing with the company got people talking.
That said, RVD was more than enough and I don't know why they felt the need to give away the Sting information today on Dixie Carter's Twitter page. It wouldn't have been a huge surprise, but it's not like people will be buzzing all weekend over Sting appearing on the show. My take is that the Sting news will be overshadowed by RVD.
