The following matches are advertised for the September 5 edition of TNA Impact Wrestling, which is being taped tonight in Cleveland, Ohio.

-Bully Ray vs. Sting (now a non-title match).

-12-man gauntlet match for 20 points in the Bound For Glory Series.

Powell's POV: If you thought Sting could never challenge for the TNA Title again, you were wrong. If you thought the Bound For Glory Series ended on the live edition of Impact, you were wrong. Sure, TNA told you those things, but apparently they didn't mean it. Hulk Hogan made the TNA Title match announcement in a rambling promo so it's very possible that he misspoke and the title won't actually be defended.

There really is one more BFG Series match that was added after everyone thought the series was over. Swerve!!! It's like MLB allowing the full season to play out, letting the teams celebrate their playoff berths, and then announcing that there's one more game worth so many wins that all but two of the non-playoff teams have a chance to replace one of the teams that actually earned it.

Anyway, we are still looking for correspondents for tonight's Impact taping. If you are at the show and want to help, contact me at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

Update: TNA issued a statement on Twitter announcing that the Bully Ray vs. Sting match will indeed be a non-title match due to the stipulation preventing Sting from challenging for the title ever again. Thus, it appears Hogan simply misspoke.
