TNA News: The reason Hulk Hogan was not at the TNA Impact taping, other notable absences

-Hulk Hogan did not appear at Tuesday's TNA Impact taping. The word backstage at the show was that Hogan was off because he is scheduled to undergo back surgery on Wednesday.

-TNA president Dixie Carter, Eric Bischoff, and Jason Hervey did not attend Tuesday's taping.

Powell's POV: Hogan has been in a lot of pain backstage at the tapings, and TMZ reported last month that he underwent surgery. Meanwhile, Carter doesn't always attend the second taping. I have yet to hear why Bischoff wasn't at the show. Hervey's absence was not a surprise, as the word backstage is that he's doing a movie and was not at the last set of tapings either.
