Taz (a/k/a Pete Senerchia) told Alex Marvez of Scripps News that he's happy with his new gig in TNA. "I couldn't be happier," Taz said. "TNA reminds me of the original ECW, but with a real TV contract, real money and a lot of big names. We're not at the level of WWE yet. We're still young. There will be some growing pains. But the work ethic and passion are there to give our audience the best product possible."

Taz also commented on his various roles in the company. "I do a little bit of everything," he said. "Backstage, I'm assigned to (watch) talent that they want me to help nurture. I've also given feedback on the TV shows from a different perspective, having not only wrestled for WWE but worked in the studio." To read the full story, visit ScrippsNews.com.

Powell's POV: I spoke with someone today who stated that TNA president Dixie Carter thinks very highly of Taz, so it's no surprise to hear that he's wearing so many hats already in TNA. He also spoke about what it was like to have Vince McMahon producing him when he was a WWE announcer.
