-Samoa Joe is not backstage at the TNA taping today.

-The impostor Lupus is at the TNA Impact tapings and is scheduled to work a match tonight.

-The word making the rounds is that the following performers were among those not contacted about appearing at the TNA Hardcore Justice PPV: Dawn Marie, Jim "Sinister Minister" Mitchell, referee Jim Molineaux, manager Jason Knight, and ring announcer Bob Artese.

Powell's POV: It appears Joe is still being punished for his backstage outburst in which he stormed into the production truck following his recent time limit draw against Jeff Hardy. He was upset because someone gave the cue to Jeremy Borash to state that there were 30 seconds remaining in the match, even though Joe had made it clear earlier that he didn't want any type of countdown before the bell rang to signal that the match was a draw.

As for fake Lupus, I don't have anything against the guy playing Lupus, but I hope TNA officials realize the character has no name recognition. I believe he's working a match against Jesse Neal tonight.

For what it's worth, I wish they would have left fake Lupus and fake Blue Meanie off the show and used some of the performers listed above that were not invited to the show. I'm sure Lupus and fake Meanie worked cheap and are local, but so is Mitchell, who is among the best talkers in the industry.
