TNA News: Rock star interested in buying TNA?

The Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan is interested in at least buying into TNA, according to former ECW personality Lou D'Angeli. "From what I understand, (Corgan) is in negotiations to buy (TNA)," D'Angeli wrote on his Twitter page. "I don't know anything else but he was in Nashville last week!" Powell's POV: Corgan is a longtime pro wrestling fan and is an owner of the Resistance Pro Wrestling promotion in Chicago. He has attended many WWE, TNA, ECW, etc. events over the years. Corgan once expressed interest in buying into ECW, but the two sides did not reach an agreement. It's worth noting that Corgan is not the person I was referring to when I stated that a notable name has shown interest in purchasing the company.
