TNA Tag Champion Robbie E (a/k/a Rob Strauss) recalled in an interview with NJ.com how much time he had to come up with his "Jersey Shore" inspired character. "I had about three hours to become a whole new character," he said.
Robbie's mother Marlene doesn't watch the show because she's fearful he will get hurt, but she endorsed the character. "I was amused by it in the beginning," she said. "Now, I think he's perfect for that part." Read the full story at NJ.com
Powell's POV: The story also includes quotes from TNA agent Pat "Simon Diamond" Kenney. It also states that Robbie got his teaching degree, meaning he has something to fall back on. It's a nice feature story that helps promote the TNA live events in Philadelphia and Westbury, New York.
