TNA legend Ric Flair attended the Boston Red Sox game on Tuesday. Dot Net reader Chris Melina passed along the following report.

I watching the Ch. 4 news. The sports segment was on and they were at Fenway Park hyping the Red Sox game. Ric Flair was interviewed and was there to present Dustin Pedroia with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Flair talked about meeting the team, and how a few months back Pedroia purchased one of Flair's robes via Ebay along with a Championship belt.

Pedroia is a huge Flair fan and keeps the items he purchased in the clubhouse hanging above his locker. This was all documented in an article a couple of months back. Flair mentioned TNA by name and spoke about the cross demographic between baseball and wrestling. Flair had the championship with him on camera, the interviewer asked how much it weighed and Flair told him to have a hold to see for himself.

The segment ended with the interviewer asking Flair to give a couple of his trademark Woooo's, which he did. Flair came across great and seemed genuinely excited to be giving the belt to Pedroia and to be there at Fenway Park.

Powell's POV: That's good exposure for Flair and TNA. Flair also appeared on ESPN in footage taped at Fenway. Here's hoping TNA also had a camera crew present to show the footage on an upcoming edition of Impact Wrestling.
