Hulk Hogan is not expected to wrestle at the TNA Genesis pay-per-view in January despite being advertised for an appearance on the official event poster. Hogan is being advised by some within his camp to hold off on working a match for TNA until the timing is right and there has been a proper buildup.
Powell's POV: The decision on when to wrestle is obviously Hogan's to make, but there are people close to him suggesting that he not rush into anything. I believe the eventual plan is to feature Hogan vs. Ric Flair on TNA pay-per-view, but either the details are being kept quiet or no formal plans have been made. A well-placed source claimed earlier this week that talks with Flair regarding the matter have been informal thus far.
Dot Net members received the first look at the above news on Wednesday before Flair's interview with Scripps News was published. Flair's comments in the interview with Alex Marvez jibe with the information published in this report, as he stated that he has not had discussions with TNA ownership, but has spoken with people who work there.
