TNA News: New developmental agreement with former WWE developmental territory

TNA issued a press release on Monday to announce that they have entered an exclusive developmental deal with Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville, Ky. The press release states that OVW owner Danny Davis will work closely with TNA senior vice president Bruce Prichard in the training process.

Powell's POV: I like the move, as TNA needs to do more in terms of developing talent for the future. It will be interesting to see whether this affects the OVW relationship with Ring of Honor, which held its last two television tapings at the OVW home base of Davis Arena. OVW was a WWE developmental territory from 2000 through 2008.
