TNA News: New Knockout signs with the company

TNA has signed indy wrestler Betsy Ruth to a contract, according to her Twitter page. She was trained by Team 3D and had a recent dark match with Daffney. You can check out her Twitter page at Twitter.com/betsy_ruth. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Matt Aaron]

Powell's POV: Daffney was injured during the match, but the injury was not considered Ruth's fault. Ruth is a large woman and the buzz backstage amongst some in TNA is that she could be the new monster of the Knockouts Division since Awesome Kong is no longer with the company. Others felt that it was a big reach to expect Ruth to fill Kong's shoes. We'll get a better idea of how she's fit in once she debuts on television.
