TNA star Jeff Hardy must remain in a drug abuse treatment program as part of his sentencing on drug related charges in Moore County, N.C., according to Michael Zenie of Fayobserver.com.

As previously noted, Hardy pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a controlled substance and a single count of conspiracy to traffic in a substance containing opium.

Assistant District Attorney Warren McSweeney stated that a September 2009 raid came after employees at the Fayetteville FedEx distribution center contacted police about a suspicious package.

The package was sent to Hardy by a person labeled as "a fan in Florida," and contained a coffee can that was filled with 262 prescription hydrocodone painkillers. The story states that police resealed the package and had it delivered to Hardy's home, and the police raided the home when he accepted the package and found other drugs.

Powell's POV: Hardy's attorney James Van Camp also requested that Superior Court Judge Joseph Turner allow Hardy to travel outside the state so that he can continue to wrestle. Chris Shore was at the courthouse on Thursday, and noted that he and other reporters were unable to find Hardy after the hearing, so it does not appear that he answered any questions on the matter.
