Free agent pro wrestler Matt Morgan stated during an interview with Brian Fritz of BetweenTheRopes.com that he is keeping the door open for a possible TNA return. "Definitely if the timing is right," Morgan said. "Timing is everything in this sport. I’ve always said that and it’s the truth. But I do not want to go back somewhere where it’s business as usual and let’s do the start – stop stuff again. It’s got to be full guns blazing, let’s do this thing. You’ve got a seven-foot, 330-pound steroid-free monster that is the most durable thing there is right now. Please tell of someone who is my size and hasn’t had an injury in ten years. I’ve never missed time for anything. That being said, let’s go. Let’s just come out of the gates blasting."

Morgan also noted during the interview that he already knows what his future holds. "“I’ll put it to you this way without saying too much," he said. "I know exactly what I’ll be doing and where I’ll be heading and when I’ll be doing that." Powell's POV: Morgan sat down with Fritz for an 80-minute interview that can also be heard at BetweenTheRopes.com. Morgan has previously noted that he is also open to the idea of returning to WWE. It's worth noting that Morgan goes back with new TNA head of talent relations John Gaburick, as the two worked together when Morgan was a contestant on WWE Tough Enough. Morgan requested his contractual release from TNA and eventually received it on July 9.
