TNA News: Major news from the Impact Wrestling taping (spoiler)

The following contains a major spoiler for the TNA Impact Wrestling television show that will air Thursday.

James Storm defeated Kurt Angle to win the TNA Title at the Impact Wrestling taping. Robert Roode, Kazarian, and A.J. Styles celebrated in the ring with Storm after the match. [Thanks to our TNA taping correspondent]

Powell's POV: I've said for a while now that I felt Storm had more babyface breakout potential than Roode, who I envision as a better heel. It will be interesting to see if that's the direction they take now that Storm did what Roode failed to do at Bound For Glory. The only problem I see with this scenario is that Roode would be the heel chasing the babyface champion, but I really do like the idea of Storm beating the featured babyface wrestler.
