Kurt Angle stated on Twitter on Sunday that he is signing a three-and-a-half year contract with TNA. "I will be compensated higher than WWE," Angle wrote. "I am proud to be in TNA. Thank you, Dixie."

Angle also stated that TNA is letting him train for the Olympics. "To naysayers, believe what you want, but I am in control of his," Angle wrote. "Nobody else. My nephew and I are training for it." Follow Angle on Twitter at Twitter.com/AngleFoods1.

Powell's POV: Angle said it's not right to compare his Olympic comeback attempt to all of the interest he expressed in becoming an MMA fighter over the years because he said they couldn't come to terms on money and starting dates. I wish Kurt the best in his attempt to return to the Olympics, but he's brought the scrutiny on himself due to some of the tall tales he's told over the years.
