TNA wrestler Kurt Angle told WTAE that he wants to go back to the Olympics. "It's not just this old man trying to lash out to get publicity," Angle said. "It's about really making the team and making a point that, you know what, the 40s is not old. It's the new young."

"I feel really good at 42, and I might be making a statement that him and I are going to start training for the Olympics and go after the U.S. Open, the Olympic team trials, and then the Olympics." To read the full story, visit WTAE.com. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Ben Hough]

Powell's POV: With his MMA dreams dashed, Angle is now turning back to amateur wrestling. It would be a tremendous story and I'd definitely root for him. However, I think it probably is exactly what he said it was not - an "old man trying to lash out to get publicity." If he's serious, I sincerely wish him the best of luck. He didn't officially confirm that he's going to try out, so I'm taking a seeing is believing approach.
