TNA News: Kurt Angle return date revealed, filming a movie

Kurt Angle posted and then pulled a note on his Twitter page on Tuesday in which he stated that he would return to work for TNA next week. "I start back next Thursday on TNA Impact," Angle wrote. He also noted that he is shooting a movie called "Beyond The Mat" with a high school wrestling theme. You can read more from Angle at his Facebook Page. [Thanks to Dot Net reader M.G.]

Powell's POV: I didn't see the Angle post with my own eyes, but M.G. is a regular contributor to the website, so we'll take his word for it. Based on what Angle wrote, it sounds like he will return at TNA's Impact taping. He has not wrestled since his appearance at the TNA Lockdown pay-per-view on Apr. 18 and he indicated online that he'd be gone for about a month, so the timeline seems accurate. Angle stated at the pay-per-view that he would be focussed on winning the TNA Title upon his return.
