TNA News: Kurt Angle contract update

Kurt Angle told the "Busted Open" Sirius satellite radio show that his contract with TNA expires a few months from now. He said he's been doing movies, but his wrestling career won't end when his deal expires.

Angle declined to say whether he'd re-sign with TNA or return to WWE. He said he's happy in TNA, but he didn't burn bridges in WWE so it's possible he could go back. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Agahzi]

Powell's POV: Angle is playing this perfectly. He praised Vince McMahon again in this area, yet also put over TNA by saying they could be just as big as WWE someday. He previously told people his deal expired in September. He also told friends that the company may have the option for another year, but apparently that's not the case unless he's leaving that part out intentionally.
